been thinking about traveling a lot lately.

In the run up to leave Paris while the sun is still shining here, I am just taking every day as it comes and not counting all the beautiful things I am leaving behind, I am thinking about the ones to come.

I'm aware I am constantly using the word beauty in these posts, but for me thats one thing about Paris that has made a lot of difference for me. Just to be surrounded and amazed by so many beautiful things in daily life.

But of course, thats just perception.

Went to see the pina film by Wim Wenders with Emma yesterday.

Such a touching and beautiful to the core film

what an incredible and inspiring woman she was,

and how amazing her whole body of work revolved entirely around the one thing that can control everything, LOVE. Indeed how inspiring and talented Wim and the whole dance company are, they possess a kind of freedom in themselves that translates so well into every performance and have pushed the boundaries of art and dance flowing in between fragility sensitivity strength and power.

I dont know lately but I realise I am so affected by dance, movement can bring me to tears - that film almost did.
I came out the cinema feeling actually really elated,

For lack of words not doing justice I will just say:

Parfois je me sens comme la mode est devenue tout sur l'image imprimée à plat. Stylisés réédité travaillé travaillé travaillé. Vendez-moi les vêtements. tiers. Je laisse penser que je ne sais même pas ce que je viens pour. Ou pire, je ne m'inquiète pas. Parfois je me sens comme les vêtements que je me préoccupe vraiment sont celles que je porte ou de faire. Ceux que je peux parfaitement comprendre. Le corps en 3D. Parfois je me sens tellement détaché. Parce qu'il ya tellement de celui-ci.Intéressant, joli tissu, designer, de copie et copie d'une copie, en plus. Surtout expositions. Je pense que ça devient plus difficile d'engager les gens à la mode à travers des expositions sans ternir la beauté des vêtements eux-mêmes. Son tout devenir un spectacle. Son tout si tentant de simplement regarder et passer, pas vraiment comparer.S'arrêter et de regarder. beaux vêtements sont un spectacle qui aura lieu, mais il est très peu de designers, à mon avis qui ont réussi à vraiment paralysant dans leur beauté et leur intelligence. Parfois, les vêtements ne doivent simplement être des vêtements. Oui. Et parfois, ils sont beaux dans la construction ou la forme. Mais parfois, je veux plus. Talent et l'ingéniosité est une catégorie tout à fait différent. Cette exposition m'a remonté le moral. Sculpture et aux vêtements c'est vraiment ce que j'ai pensé pendant ces derniers mois. Je suis si heureux je suis allé Il était si bien organisée et si accessible, mais surtout m'a vraiment fait regarder et pour la première fois dans un moment, j'ai vraiment pris en charge à ce sujet parce que tout simplement il a été a été si belle.

Sometimes I feel like fashion has become all about an image printed flat. Stylized reissued, worked worked worked. Sell me clothes. Third. I suggest that I do not even know what I have to. Or worse, I do not care. Sometimes I feel like the clothes I really care about are the ones I wear or make. Those I can perfectly understand. The body in 3D. Sometimes I feel so detached. Because there are so many that, interesting, pretty fabric, designer, copy and copy of a copy, too. Especially exhibitions. I think it becomes more difficult to engage people in fashion through exhibitions without tarnishing the beauty of the clothes themselves. Its all become a spectacle. Its all so tempting to just go and watch, not really look, stop andlook. Fine clothes are a sight to be held, but very few designers, in my opinion really succeeded in paralyzing in their beauty and intelligence. Sometimes, theclothes should be just clothes. Yes. And sometimes, they are beautiful in construction or form. But sometimes I want more. Talent and ingenuity is a totally different category. This exposure has morale. Sculpture and clothing that is really what I was thinking during these months. I'm so glad I went, it was so well organized and so available, but above all really made me look for the first time in a while, I really cared about it simply because it was was so beautiful.

I've been having an amazing time lately!

Maybe I need to write more in these situations. But sometimes I just want to live it, and not put in into past tense so quickly.

Ive been eating so much good food, out so much, and walked so much, seeing Paris on foot is the best way to see the city, everyone will tell you. Seeing real life Francis Bacon's, picasso's, monet water lillies, new and emerging artists, new galleries and meeting artists! Discovering new places, new routes, its just the most beautiful city, with some of the most beautiful people, and I have decided to leave it... for now!

Ive got a placement with an artist.

Im excited.

Change is good.

Had such an amazing time with family coming to visit me. So glad I have had so many friends visit me while I've been here and crash at mine.

Feeling lucky again.

I have just finished reading this novel by Chuck Palahniuk, the author best known for writing fight club, which has compelled me to write this short review:

Twisting us through the most gruesome adjectives Chuck has grown into Mr Whittier himself, creating this novel in order for readers to indeed take part in their very own 'writers retreat'. At the start of this novel we were introduced to a humorous take on a third party sad story, a poem. But as we travel through the book growing number by the sadness or terrible accounts each story presents to us we feel heavier and more thoughtful as the book continues. What I didn't realise from the beginning is that Mr Whittier's advice could perhaps be Chuck's own voice telling us to get up get out and enjoy life. A hard, slow pace read but one that definitely remains in my mind. It's true what he says about the freedom of writing. You really can jot anything you want down and have it published. Perhaps this is was always the way it was?

Im not really sure what I can say. This is nature. A lot of people have lost their lives, and a lot more are suffering amidst fears of nuclear leakage, with still ongoing aftershocks. Apart from donating to the relief there is little people can do but watch and think of Japan and leave it up to the professionals for the search and rescue. Its strange that as time goes on being so far away it can just be blocked from your thoughts. I suppose that is just how things happen, whenever something tragic happens we move on in one way or another. Or at least we try to move forward, because we know now, there is no going back. Its an isolating thought because when I think of it like this, in this matter of fact way, what do we actually take with us? But then I suppose the world is always changing and we never know whats around the corner, good or bad.
